| Ensemble “Tikves” at Serbian Festival
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (www.culture.in.mk, 17.04.2008) - Folklore ensemble “Tikves” within home of culture “Ivan Mazov-Klime” from Kavadarci will take part at international event “Days of Cyrillic 2008” in Bavaniste, Serbia on May 23-25.
The Kavadarci folk dancers will hold an all-evening concert, presenting Macedonian culture and tradition.
The concert will include band performing Macedonian old-town songs “Trio Grande”.

| Club “September 8” from Kriva Palanka at Poland International Festival
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (MIA, 27.08.2007) - In the framework of Macedonia’s cultural affirmation, cultural-artistic club “September 8” from Kriva Palanka will take part at the jubilee 20th international student folklore festival in Katowice, Poland from August 25 through September 2.
“This is our third participation at the Katowice festival. Impressing the Polish folklore lovers during our prior performances in 2000 and 2004, the organizer invited us for the third time at the jubilee 20th festival edition”, club’s project coordinator Marjan Janackovski told MIA.

| | Club “Goce Delcev” Tours in Bulgaria
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (MIA, 23.04.2007) - About 40 members of cultural-artistic club “Goce Delcev” from Bosilovo, accompanied by a municipal delegation, tours in Grmen, Bulgaria, where it performed within the program for celebration of the Bulgarian municipality’s holiday.
Recently, mayors of these two municipalities signed a cooperation memorandum, while fraternization is expected very soon. Club “Goce Delcev”, which celebrates its 60th anniversary, presented a folklore mosaic from the Povardarie region, as well as Eastern and Pirin Macedonia.

| Recognition for Goce Delcev Ensemble
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (Spic, 30.08.2006) - Goce Delcev Folk Song and Dance Ensemble in Skopje was conferred special recognition by the International Folk Festival held in several towns in southern Italy on 16-21 August.
Within the tour, Goce Delcev Folk Dance Group and recently established Mixed Singing Group and solo singer Vanco Tarabunov had 12 concerts.

| | Tour – “Kitka” Wins Award at Romanian Festival
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (Vecer, 17.08.2006) - Members of folklore ensemble “Kitka” from village Istibanja took part at international folklore festival “Golden Fish”, which was held for the 14th time in Romanian city Tulca.
Artistic director Stojko Mitkovski stressed that the ensemble represented Macedonian folklore in a dignified manner, winning the highest recognition – award “Festival Laureate”. They won the award in the competition of 22 ensembles from the entire world.

| Tour – “Orce Nikolov” in Germany
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (Vest, 15.08.2006) - Ensemble “Orce Nikolov” took part at the celebrations in Germany on occasion of the 800th anniversary of city Dresden and the 40th anniversary from the fraternization between Skopje and Dresden.
The open cultural-musical event included the participation of artists from 12 states and Dresden’s fraternized cities, while ensemble “Orce Nikolov”, which performed at the city square, held three concerts.

| Tour – “Koco Racin” in Bulgaria
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (Spic, 15.08.2006) - Members of cultural-artistic club “Koco Racin” from Kicevo took part at the first international folklore festival for children and youth “Galata 2006” in Bulgaria, which was held in the past two weeks.
According to club director Ruza Sofronievska, the festival was a success for “Koco Racin”, which alongside “Goce Delcev” from Bitola represented Macedonia’s folklore in the best way possible.

| Tour – Folklore Ensemble “Skopje” in Portugal
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (Vreme, 01.08.2006) - Ensemble of folk songs and dances “Skopje” within the Youth Cultural Center had an exceptional performance at the renowned international festival of folklore companies “Dancas do Mundo” in Santa Maria de Feira, Portugal.
The festival, which was closed on Monday, included ensembles from Portugal, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Spain and Mexico.
Besides the festival’s performance, ensemble “Skopje” also took part at events in 12 other Portuguese cities.

| Tours - Stiv Naumov Folk Ensemble in Split
Amateur Ensembles in International Competitions : (Vecer, 12.09.2003) - Stiv Naumov Folk Ensemble in Bitola is visiting Croatia where the choir within this ensemble will have two concerts in Split. The tour has been enabled by the collaboration of Marko Marulic Macedonian-Croatian Association in Bitola and Macedonian Association in Croatia. One concert will present spiritual music and will be held at St. Due Cathedral, and the other will feature choir compositions by world and Macedonian composers.
