| Prilep Performances at Ohrid Summer, Stip, Stobi Festivals
Theater : (Vest, 17.06.2010) - Prilep Theatre performance “Caucasian Chalk Circle” by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Martin Kocovski, has been invited to close this year’s Ohrid Summer festival on August 20, says theatre manager Stojan Damceski. The theatre will open the 25th edition of Stip Summer with play “Life in Patches” by Stale Popov, directed by Vlado Cvetanovski on July 3. The same performance will close festival of antique drama in Stobi on July 31.

| Premiere of “Peer Gynt” in Albanian Theatre
Theater : (Vest, 27.05.2010) - Premiere of performance “Peer Gynt” by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Slobodan Unkovski, will be played in the Albanian Theatre on Thursday evening at 19,30.
The play was developed in cooperation with the Kosovo National Theatre, supported by the “2009 Ibsen Award” and the culture ministries of Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania.

| Theatre Production Based on Goce Smilevski’s Novel “Conversation with Spinoza”
Theater : (Utrinski vesnik, 14.05.2010) – The novel ”Conversation with Spinoza” by Goce Smilevski, the winner of the Novel of the Year by Utrinski Vesnik is premiering soon on theatre stage, directed by Zoja Buzalkova.
“The premiere is planned by late June within the Skopje Summer on the stage of the Drama Theatre. The cast includes Vasil Zafircev, Katina Ivanova, Borce Nacev, and other actors,” says Blagoj Stefanovski, Director of the Small Drama Theatre – Bitola and producer of the play prepared together with the Drama Theatre and the Macedonian National Theatre.

“’The Maids’ is a metaphor of freedom. The freedom to love, create, live, work. The metaphor of our daily lives; of our fears, wishes, aspirations”, says director Jercic. | | “Fist Full of Love” in Honour of Aleksandar Mikic
Theater : (Dnevnik, 23.03.2010) – Director of the Macedonian National Theatre Saso Milenkovski handed Amfi Award to actor Aleksandar Mikic in a ceremony on Monday. The actor has been given the award for the record number of parts in theatre productions in the past year.
“I told you last year that I will return for the award this year again. The theatre told me to bring my old award but I immediately saw the catch that they want to make fun. Now, I have another one with 2010 imprinted on it,” Mikic said at the ceremony.

| Twenty Years Growth of Children and Youth Theatre
Theater : (Dnevnik, 23.03.2010) – Director of the Children and Youth Theatre Ljubomir Cadikovski says they have declared the whole year as a jubilee one – they are having two premieres and visiting performances with theatres in the region that will come to celebrate the jubilee.
Twenty-four plays are included in the repertoire of the theatre and 1,700 productions have been seen by audiences.
