At Ohrid Summer Tonight - Concert of Israeli Baldi Olier Trio
(Makedonija Denes, 12.08.2004) - A concert of Israeli Baldi Olier Trio is organized on the stage of Dolni Saraj at 9.00 p.m. today within the Ohrid Summer Festival. The guitar trio will perform flamenco, Gipsy, Balkan, Mediterranean and classical music.
Baldi Olier is Romanian living in Israel and has performed with his trio throughout the world. He is a guitar virtuous and composer with a very rich repertoire. Olier’s style is combination between flamenco and Gipsy music with Mediterranean motifs. He has released dozens of albums and is the author of music for four films and theatre plays. His performances and albums present original material and special arrangements of compositions by other authors. In his long-year music career, Olier has performed in France, Germany, Belgium, Britain, Spain, Italy, United States and other countries.
