Ohrid Summer Today – Albanian “A Century of Broadway” Performed at Dolni Saraj
(Dnevnik, 25.07.2005) - A spectacular musical, “A Century of Broadway,” the production of the National Troupe of the Musical Opera and Ballet and Music Company in Albania will be performed on the stage of Dolni Saraj at 9.00 p.m. today.
American Jastine Sherwood is the choreographer of the play where the roles have been entrusted to Odeta Visica, Gert Vaso, Vikena Kamenica, Rovena Stefa, Erion Base, Maniola Hasani, Ezdalin Gorani, Amela Prifti and others.
“A Century of Broadway” is a sum of the most famous Broadway musicals such as “West Side Story,” “Hallo, Dolly,” “Cats,” “Moulen Rouge,” Chicago” and others. A number of ballet dancers, singers, actors and musicians are a part of the grand spectacle. Choreographer Sherwood has made a link between ballet, song and acting. |
