| Second Handicraft Fair Held at the Weekend – “Tradition – Vision of Future” in Berovo
(www.culture.in.mk, 31.08.2005) - The second handicraft fair, “Tradition – Vision of Future” was held in Berovo on August 27-28 in organization of Berovo Municipality in cooperation with UNDP.
Nongovernmental organizations and individuals from Berovo, Pehcevo, Delcevo and Vinica Municipalities presented hand-made works in an outdoor area of 500 square meters in the centre of town. Another content, “Malesevia Folk Meetings,” was also held within the event, a part of the Berovo Cultural Summer. Folk ensembles from several towns in Macedonia and Bulgaria took part in the meetings.
“The goal was to enable producers of traditional handicraft, souvenirs, souvenirs made in wood and trade products to present themselves to tourists and visitors from the whole country,” Jasmina Pasaliska – Andonovska, the project manager of the Local Development Agency said. |
