(Vecer, 19.06.2006) - French cembalo player Mario Raskin is holding classes for students at the Faculty of Music Arts from today to Wednesday. Raskin is visiting Macedonia for the fourth time and the master classes are only the continuation of a project for improvements of cembalo students. As previously, Raskin will work with a group of six students, and the cooperation will continue in the next months.
Mario Raskin’s discography is not of a great volume but his direct contact with the audience is what is remarkable. His engagement as the Director of the Music Season of Monsoro has enabled him to convey music to the audiences in the most direct manner. Since he does not want to explain what he does, he usually says “I am a composer who does not write music,” cherishing inclination to paradox and believing that any interpretation should be unique.
