Film Library – Projection of Anthological “Death in Venice”
(Vest, 14.11.2006) - In the framework of cycle “Visconti”, film “Death in Venice” (1971) of Luchino Visconti, according to the novel by Thomas Mann will be projected in the Macedonian Film Library in Skopje on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 20,00h.
“Death in Venice” represents the reading for each film lover. It is a subtle, but disturbing, visually perfect Visconti film.
The movie was nominated for the 1972 Oscar in the category of costume design, the Cannes Golden Palm, and won four BAFTA awards. |
