Project – Through Women’s Perspective


(Utrinski Vesnik, 31.01.2007) - Center for performing arts “Multimedia” will implement project “Through Women’s Perspective”, which is an international cooperation of 30 male and female artists from eight European countries, in multimedia center “Mala Stanica” starting from Wednesday until February 4.
The project’s goal is to raise the public awareness on the existent problems of the woman, to demonstrate how male and female artists can create consciousness through the use of participatory art, contributing to re-evaluation of cultural and social changes in Europe.
The event will be comprised of a conference and workshop part, including the participation of theoreticians, critics and artists focusing on gender issues from Macedonia and Europe.
“Through Women’s Perspective” is financed by the European Commission’s Youth Program, together with its partners Artens from Greece, per.art from Serbia, Culture and Communities from Albania, Action – Cultural Development Agency from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Association for the Promotion of Women in Culture-City of Women from Slovenia, Debalie from The Netherlands and The New Society for Fine Arts from Germany.
