| Reconstruction of Old Turkish Bath in Gevgelija
(MIA, 29.03.2007) - Following a donation from Turkish municipality Karac, reconstruction of the Old Turkish Bath has begun in Gevgelija.
The facility dates from the 17th century and is the only construction of the oriental culture in this region.
The reconstructed interior will grow into an art gallery and space for artistic, ethnological and smaller chamber exhibitions.
The Old Turkish Bath was declared monument of culture in 2003. |
