At Tocka – Exhibition of Digital Prints by Zoran Poposki
(Vecer, 28.02.2008) – A solo exhibition of digital artist Zoran Poposki, “Abstract Politics,” is opening at the Tocna Culture Centre today (8.00 p.m.). Poposki is presenting digital prints in large dimensions created in 2008. The prints deconstruct deconstructed banalities of the modern national and global political system using a part of the wide range of traditional art strategies of abstraction while reconstructing them and translating them into the language of new media.
Poposki (1974) has had a dozen solo shows and has taken part in a series of group exhibitions in the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, and Macedonia. He has had study residences in the United States and Austria. |
