(Vecer, 01.04.2008) – Macedonian pianist Simon Trpceski had an extraordinary rfeception by US audiences in the concert the piano virtuoso had with the Los Angeles Philharmonic on 28, 29 and 30 March under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel.
Trpceski performed First Concert for Piano and Orchestra by Prokofiev and Arabesca by Debussy, which he dedicated to his parents.
The tickets for the three concerts at the prestigious Walt Disney Hall was sold out long before the events and because of the great interest, the third concert was aired live on the classical music radio in Los Angeles.
Prestigious “LA Times” published a review on the performance of Dudamel-Trpceski tandem saying that energy marked the significant night for the conductor and the programme with pieces of Salonen and Berlioz and the appearance of pianist Trpceski.
