Simon Trpceski to Play for Tose Proeski’s Monastery

(Vecer, 22.04.2008) – Macedonian piano virtuoso Simon Trpceski is having an evening-long Easter concert at the Metropolis Arena in Skopje at 8.00 p.m. tomorrow evening. Only two days after his return from Porto, Trpceski will perform pieces by Prokofiev, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Grieg, Canev and Glisic. The proceeds will be used for completion of the St. Transfiguration Monastery in Krusevo, the construction of which was initiated by late Tose Proeski.
The concert as well as the other concert Trpceski has had in Macedonia have been organized by Kultur Op and all have had humanitarian character with proceeds being used for restoration of culture centres where the respective concerts were held. After the Skopje concert, Trpceski is leaving for Liverpool.
