May Opera Evenings – “La Boheme” with World Renowned Soloists
(Vecer, 20.05.2008) – “La Boheme” by Giacomo Puccini is on the programme of the May Opera Evenings today (8.00 p.m.). The lead role of Mimi in the opera is being performed Izabela Klosinska (Poland) who will be accompanied on the stage by tenor Alessandro Liberatore (Italy), Tanja Andrijic and Vladimir Andric (Serbia), and Deljan Slvaov (Bulgaria). The conductor is Croatian Jospi Sogo.
This is Puccini’s second production within the 2008 May Opera Evenings after “Tosca.” The upcoming “Turandot” will encircle tribute to the great opera master within a worldwide observed jubilee, 150th anniversary of his birth. |
