Concert of Ana and Oleg Kontradenko at Ohrid Summer
(Utrinski vesnik, 24.07.2008) – Macedonian violin duo Ana and Oleg Kontradenko are performing in St. Sofia Church at 9.00 p.m. today within the Ohrid Summer. The duo will perform pieces by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Leclair, Moshkovsky, Shostakovich, Sarasate and Wieniavsky to the piano accompaniment of Marija Vrskova.
Oleg Kontradenko is ranked among the most prominent violin soloists of the young generation. He has studied violin at the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje as well as in European centres Rotterdam and Cologne. Ana Kontradenko has studied violin in Novosibirsk, Russia where she comes from. Both have prolific concert experience as soloists. |
