| Stip – Restoration of Cultural Centres
(Vecer, 23.09.2009) – Reconstruction of Aco Sopov Culture Centre, the Theatre, Jewish Cemetery, conservation of the Isar Fortress is a part of projects implemented with Ministry of Culture funds. Work on repair of the stage, interior renovation and façade reconstruction is under way at Aco Sopov Centre.
Minister of Culture Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska visited cultural institutions in Stip at the weekend, including the theatre where seats and flooring have been refurnished and air conditioning installation is planned in the following period.
A team of the Ministry of Culture visited Goce Delcev Library and the local Youth Centre. The Minister met Stip Mayor Zoran Aleksov with the two discussing ways of deepening cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and Stip Municipality. |
