Andreevski’s “Icon” – Part of “White House” Art Collection
(MIA, 03.02.2010) - The Arts Council of Alamance County, Graham, the US state North Carolina - www.artsalamance.com - has bought drawing “Icon” - work of art of prominent Macedonian painter Sergej Andreevski - for the collection of “White House” Museum.
Traditionally at the beginning of each year the Council decides to buy out a work of art that has been displayed during the previous exhibiting season.
Andreevski’s drawing was part of the traveling exhibit “Sergej & Friends”, organized last year in the US by the Asolare Fine Arts Foundation.
Andreevski’s works are also parts of the collections of Imadate Art Museum - Japan; Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art - China; Nuremberg Kunsthaus - Germany; Casoria Contemporary Art Museum Naples - Italy... |
