| February Film Program Begins in Macedonian Cinematheque
(MIA, 03.02.2010) - Macedonian Cinematheque launched Tuesday the February Film Program with the screening of “Lost in Translation” (2003), directed by Sofia Coppola.
The same film will be projected on Wednesday, followed by “Seven” (1995) of David Fincher on Thursday and Friday, whereas French movie “Brotherhood of the Wolf” (2001) by Christophe Gans is on Saturday and Sunday’s repertoire.
Next week’s program includes 1964 Soviet film “Armiya Tryasoguzki” of Aleksandrs Laimanis and US movies “Deep Rising” (1998) of Stephen Sommers, “The Detective” (1968) of Gordon Douglas and “Starship Troopers” (1997) by Paul Verhoeven.
The Cinematheque organizes “Week of Modern Dutch Film” on February 19-24, including five features, one documentary and several short and animated movies.
Soviet film “Night over Chile” (1977) of Sebastián Alarcón and Aleksandr Kosarev will be screened on February 25 and 26. The February film program will be completed with 1976 Swedish film “Man on the Roof” by Bo Widerberg on February 27-28. |
