Elena Stevkovska to Sing in Dresden and Paris
(www.culture.in.mk, 04.02.2010) - Elena Stevkovska, vocal soloist of folklore ensemble “Tanec” and winner of the first award for traditional singing at the international folklore festival “Zimna Pohodka” in Prague, will present the traditional Macedonian music in Dresden and Paris, supported by the Ministry of Culture.
Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska met Wednesday with Stevkovska, congratulating her on the high recognition in the competition of 300 participants from a number of countries.
The meeting, attended by “Tanec” director Bosko Treneski, also focused on the future activities of the renowned ensemble, which nurtures and presents Macedonian folklore tradition in the country and abroad. |
