Jovica Tasevski Eternijan Wins Indian Poetry Award


(www.culture.in.mk, 16.04.2010) Macedonian renowned poet, critic and essayist Jovica Tasevski Eternijan has won Enchanting Poet award in India bestowed for exceptional contribution to modern poetry. The decision was made by a jury of the Indian Enchanting Verses poetry magazine led by Prof. Ramesh Chandra Mukopadaya, triple Master of Arts in English, English literature and Comparative Literature and Doctor of Indian Literature.
Previous winners of the award include poets such as Canadian Stephen Gill, Romanian Dorin Popa, Polish Dariush Paczak and Greek Dimitris Kraniotis.
Tasevski Eternijan is the author of six books of poetry and two books of reviews and essays. His poetry has been published in a number of anthologies and translated in several languages.
