“Hamlet Dreams”
(Nova Makedonija, 30.09.2002) - “Hamlet Dreams” by Andri Zholdak is a visiting performance in the production of the Ukraine Drama at the Macedonian National Theatre (new building) at 9.00 p.m. today within the Young Open Theatre (MOT). The members of the Artistic Council of MOT said on this project that it is the heart of the festival and if theatre died at the beginning of the 21st century its dying was still going on, and Andri Zholdak is the one who can save it. It is about a total theatre which the author entered with an initial amnesia forgetting everything and starting from something new. Zholdak says: “I propose all this to be called shock therapy, a session where the visitors will constantly have to answer the “fatal” question.
