ON THE FOURTH DAY OF THE CAMERA THEATRE FESTIVAL “RISTO SHISKOV” -
THE CAST OF “FORTUNA DESPERATA” COMPETING FOR THE PRIZE
(Vecer,12.09.2001) - STRUMICA, SEPTEMBER 11. – The promotion of the book “Theatre Miniatures”, Todor Kuzmanov, a theatrical critic at the Macedonian Radio will open the fourth day of the Camera Theatre Festival “Risto Shiskov” in Strumica. Regarding the official part of the program, the audience will have a chance to see Seneca’s “Fortuna Desperata” (The Heroica Tragedy), directed by Aleksandar Iliev (a guest from Bulgaria) tonight at 20:00 hours. Iskra Veterova and Trajce Georgiev will try to captivate the audience and win the one and only actor’s prize of “Risto Shiskov”. Also, as part of the Off program, Strumica’s audience will get to see the famous actor Mite Grozdanov with the monodrama “A tree on the hill” by Aco Shopov, in the old building of the National Theatre “Anton Panov”. In the framework of the film review of special achievements on the big screen, the film lovers will be able to see “The Republic in Flames” with Risto Shiskov in the leading role as the Macedonian revolutionary Pitu Guli. In honour of the Macedonian bard of film, we expect the arrival of the Macedonian Ambassador in Bulgaria and director of the film, Ljubisha Georgievski.
The theatrical production of “The Story of the Dead Emperor’s Daughter” by the Veles National Theatre was discussed at the round table, and praised for its successful realization. Our talented actors, Slobodanka Chichevska, Zorica Panchik, Mladen Krstevski and Jordan Vitanov created their roles professionally and with great devotion. In addition, we had the opportunity to see the project of the Stip National Theatre – “Dear Elena Sergeevna” and the accomplishments of the actors Ruish Mustafa, Suhad Mustafa, Rubens Muratovski, Robert Ristov and Marija Gavrilovska. The film “Macedonian Bloody Wedding” was shown last night as part of the planned film program.
