At SKOMRAHI This Weekend - Performances by Students in Cetinje, Sofia and Ljubljana


(Utrinski Vesnik, 29.03.2003) - Four theatre plays, two film presentations, two workshops and a promotion of a book are organized within SKOMRAHI during the weekend.
The activities on Saturday are starting with “Actoriones,” a workshop dedicated to the practical approach of art to the epic, which will be led by Vasilis Lagos of Greece at the Faculty of Drama Art from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. A film projection by students in Belgrade, Cetinje and Log is starting at the Faculty of Drama Art at 11.00 a.m. Theatre plays are starting at 7.00 p.m. with students of the Cetinje Academy performing “Doomsday” by Zanina Mircevska to go on with “A Night Out” and “Revue” by Harold Pinter by students of Sofia Academy at the Macedonian National Theatre at 9.00 p.m. A book “A View of Bulgarian Most Recent Drama” edited by Kamelija Nikolova, theatre expert in Sofia will be promoted before the plays.
On Sunday, the second part of the workshop led by Vasilis Lagos will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., and film projections of students in Ljubljana are starting at 11.00 a.m. The two events will be organized at the Faculty of Drama Art. The guests from Ljubljana will perform “Amphitrion” by Mollier on the stage of the Drama Theatre at 7.00 p.m. whereas students of Turgu Mures University of Theatre Art will perform “The Raven” by Chekhov.
